For thousands of years, true Ceylon cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, has been prized above almost any other spice. It perfumed the tombs of ancient Egypt and was once worth its weight in gold. We grow it on our family estate and a few partner farms in Sri Lanka, hand-roll every quill, and ship it direct, from the farm to your kitchen, and no one in between.
