This is true Ceylon cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, grown, harvested and dried on our family estate and a few partner farms in Sri Lanka. Sweet, delicate, and layered, it is the spice that has been treasured for thousands of years.

Every quill is hand-rolled by families who have worked the estate for generations. Rolling a Ceylon cinnamon quill is a craft that takes years to learn, and you taste that skill the moment the kettle whistles.

Our goal is to return 60% of profit to the growers and the ecosystem behind this cinnamon, rather than letting it leak away to corporations. We sell direct so more of what you pay stays in Sri Lanka. Your order helps fund wages, health care and schooling support for the families on the estate.

Is this true Ceylon cinnamon?

Yes. Everything we sell is true Ceylon cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, grown and hand-rolled on our family estate in Sri Lanka.

What is the difference between Ceylon cinnamon and cassia?

Ceylon cinnamon is the true cinnamon. It is sweeter and more delicate, and naturally lower in coumarin than the cassia sold as cinnamon in most supermarkets.

Do you ship worldwide?

Our cinnamon sticks, powder and cinnamon sugar ship worldwide, from our estate in Sri Lanka or our base in Australia depending on stock and delivery speed. Our essential oils are the exception: we post those within Australia only and do not send them overseas. You can order on our site or on Etsy.
