True Ceylon cinnamon powder, ground in small batches from quills harvested on our family estate and a few partner farms in Sri Lanka. Sweet, light, and complex, a fragrance that unfolds rather than overwhelms.
Ground cinnamon may sit in warehouses for months before you open it. We grind from the most recent harvest, seal it, and ship direct from the estate or our Australian base. The aroma when you open the bag is the difference.
This is true cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, not the cassia that fills most supermarket jars. It is naturally low in coumarin, and we cover what that means, with sources, in the journal.
Ways to use it

Is this true Ceylon cinnamon?
Yes. Everything we sell is true Ceylon cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, grown and hand-rolled on our family estate in Sri Lanka.
What is the difference between Ceylon cinnamon and cassia?
Ceylon cinnamon is the true cinnamon. It is sweeter and more delicate, and naturally lower in coumarin than the cassia sold as cinnamon in most supermarkets.
Do you ship worldwide?
Our cinnamon sticks, powder and cinnamon sugar ship worldwide, from our estate in Sri Lanka or our base in Australia depending on stock and delivery speed. Our essential oils are the exception: we post those within Australia only and do not send them overseas. You can order on our site or on Etsy.
